The Baron on DVD

The Baron was first colour production by the Incorporated Television Company Ltd (ITC) and I've heard that this is one of the best-selling novels by John Creasey!

The baron story is about antiques dealers working in an informal capacity as an agent for British Diplomatic Intelligence. It’s a business that stirs greed, vanity and passions that propel him into exciting, danger-laden adventures stemming from the fabulous wares he handles and the people who buy, sell or steal precious treasures. And
the person who played The Baron known as Tall, handsome & debonair, John Mannering is a man who knows the world & thrives on adventure through his business as an exclusive international art and antique dealer.

The first 14 episodes were broadcast on the ABC Network in the U.S. prior to their broadcast in the U.K: subsequent episodes were syndicated.

Monster 1988 Seasons 1-3 on DVD

Monsters was produced by Richard Rubinstein and is also the producer of tales from the Darkside and directed by Tom Abrams and Philip Alder ton. The series was premiered on the first of October 1988 and lasted on the first of April 1991.

Monsters is a perverse take on a sitcom intro which begins with an aerial view of a neighborhood drawing closer to what seems to be merely a typical suburban home. the camera enters this seemingly innocuous setting as the family inside in discussing what to watch on television they are revealed to be hideous humanoids creatures with an abnormal number of eyes and elongated, deformed faces who snack on candied insects, yet they are all dressed in very human clothing and live with typical affluent suburban surroundings.

Monsters story is rarely very straightforward and often contained some ironic twist and in addition there was a sense of comedy often lost in horror productions.
